AXA Indonesia once again held “AXA Heart in Action”; a corporate social responsibility program that is run by AXAs all around the world. 126 primary school students accepted scholarship from AXA Indonesia through the Sampoerna Foundation. These students are economically disadvantaged children who are high achievers in each of their schools but are in danger of not being able to continue schooling because they cannot afford to pay their tuition fee. AXA Indonesia now ensures that they have the chance to continue their education until they graduate.

Besides the scholarship that was given by the company, the company’s employees also had the initiative making their own Fund Raising. Its aim was to add to the scholarship for other students that were not reached by the program. The result after one month of fund raising was an additional 150 scholarships. This shows how much employee involvement could become AXA’s strength in its community program.
